which is rolling out the offering nationwide. We are pleased
that the entire senior management group was retained.
We served as a Director and were one of the largest
investors.
AthenaHealth
AthenaHealth, located in Watertown, MA, offers cloud software for doctors' offices. This service vastly speeds up collection time for insurance paid claims, and maintains electronic health records. The company went public in 2007
and is now more than 7X its issue price! This was our third
best performing investment.
We served as an advisor, and were the first venture fund
to invest in the company.
Medidata Solutions, New York City, offers Cloud based software for gathering, editing and reporting the results of clinical trials. We participated in the company's initial financing and served as an Advisor. The company went
public in 2009. This has been our best investment, in terms
of funds realized!
Medidata has led the revival of New York City based
techology investment.
